Changing Tides Festival will be held at the Kiama Showgrounds, 2 Bong Bong street, Kiama NSW on the 14th & 15th of December 2024.

Changing Tides Festival is strictly an 18+ event. You must present a valid ID upon entry to validate your age. We accept a DRIVERS LICENCE, PASSPORT and PROOF OF AGE CARD. These IDs must be shown at the entrance to verify your age in accordance with liquor licensing laws.
IMPORTANT: Changing Tides is under strict instructions to monitor & deny entry to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You may be asked to remove hats or sunglasses upon entry and we ask that you understand our position on this matter. All surrounding streets within Kiama LGA is an alcohol-free zone. Please adhere to this and ensure that you do not approach the festival with alcohol as you may be denied entry.
NO PASS OUT event. Please bring everything with you the festival. Once you leave you will not be able to re-enter.
Issues or changes to your ticket need to be raised by contacting our Customer Experience team at [email protected] or utilise Tixel for secure ticket resales. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT sell or buy your tickets on any other platform other than Oztix or Tixel. Fraudulent tickets are very common. Please be aware.
To access a Companion ticket, please purchase the tickets you need. Email [email protected] with your order number and Companion card. A Complimentary ticket will then be issued for your Companion.
Intoxication, aggressive behaviour, and any illegal activities will not be tolerated. Our team reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
Changing Tides is committed to ensuring that our event is inclusive and easily accessible. Most importantly, we respectfully come together to experience the love of live music whilst feeling comfortable and safe. At Changing Tides there will be:

Kiama train station is a 7-minute walk (500m) to/from our venue at Kiama Showground.

Taxis and Rideshare operators will be directed to a designated zone on site along Manning street, Kiama.

Rideshare
Uber operates in and around Kiama’s surrounding areas. Please check with each of the rideshares platforms for further information and availability.
Please note: Rideshare vehicles must be an authorised service provider with Point to Point Transport. Bong Bong street (from Manning street) will be close to local traffic. Vehicles are not permitted on the property.
General
It is strongly recommended that you avoid driving to Changing Tides as there is no parking available onsite and very limited parking in the surrounding streets. Should you be driving your car, please take notice of the parking signs as most streets have timing limits. Please do not drive if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When driving long distances, remember to avoid fatigue by taking regular breaks or sharing the drive.
Accessible
Very limited accessible parking is available. Please ensure you display a valid disabled parking permit and make yourself known to the traffic controllers onsite. “
There are many local private transfer companies that can accommodate groups of all sizes.
To ensure the safety and comfort of our festival attendees, we kindly as to leave the following at home.

Bags larger than 40cm x 40cm
Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
Alcohol brought in from outside the event
Full unsealed bottles of water, juice, soft drinks etc (please bring empty bottles to refill at our water stations throughout the site)
Sealable food/drink pouches
Glass of any kind
Weapons of any kinds
Fireworks, flares, fire twirling paraphernalia (sticks, balls etc)
Laser lights
Chairs (folding, portable)
Inflatable furniture
Video and audio recording devices, including Go Pros (other than mobile phones)
Professional still cameras (small still cameras are allowed)
Selfie sticks
Drones
Protest paraphernalia and banners
Umbrellas (please use poncho or raincoats instead)
Water pistols
Skateboards
Culturally sensitive items and attire
Anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc)
Non-biodegradable glitter
Clothing, jewellery or accessories displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organisations or any “declared organisation” within the meaning of the Crime (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009 is not permitted.
Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals such as guide dogs)
Any other item considered illegal or dangerous

The festival reserves the right to use any photography or videos taken for the purposes of social media marketing
No professional videography equipment or drones permitted. They will be confiscated
No firework/weapons or animals (with the exception of service dogs)
The festival accepts no responsibilities for loss or damage of property or patron harm that may be caused through irresponsible behaviour or substance abuse. We will however do everything in our power to evict offenders and keep our patrons safe
The festival reserves the right to refuse festival entry to anyone that may be intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, displaying aggressive behaviour or wearing coded bands as per liquor licensing laws
In accordance with liquor licensing laws, bar staff may ask to validate your ID. Patrons will be refused service if presenting/behaving as unduly intoxicated, disorderly or aggressive. Such behaviour may result in the patron being evicted from the festival. Please drink responsibly.
Licensed event. No alcohol to be brought in or removed from the event
Payment at bars is tap and go. No cash accepted
The festival does not accept responsibility for damages or loss of property nor injuries that arise through your own fault
Do not remove your wristband until the festival is over – lost wristbands will not be replaced
No-Pass Out – For the safety of all festival goers, Changing Tides Festival does not offer pass outs. This means unless you have a legitimate reason, once you leave the festival grounds you will not be able to re-enter
All bags will be searched by security on arrival. No bag larger than 40x40cm will be allowed into the festival
First Aid is onsite should you require
Water bottles brought into the event must be sealed or empty
Avoid dehydration and drink plenty of water during the day. Free water is available on site.
If you feel that you may have been harmed by a substance that you or someone else has taken, please look for the Red Frog Tent, the closest First Aid Tent or a friendly security guard to assist you
Look out for your mates and fellow festival goers. If at any time you feel your safety or the safety of others is threatened please contact the nearest security guard.
Police will be present at the event including Police dogs for illicit detection and will be conducting random roadside breath analysis
Please respect the festival grounds and don’t litter find a bin and put it in
Dispose of cigarette butts appropriately. Adequate bins will be provided at the festival and designated smoking areas.
High fencing patrolled by security guards surrounds the festival site. Illegal trespassers will be dealt with by the Police service
Stage diving, crowd surfing and circle pits are not permitted.
