LOCATION, DATE & TIME
Changing Tides Festival will be held at the Kiama Showgrounds, 2 Bong Bong street, Kiama NSW on the 22nd of November 2025.

Entry conditions
- Changing Tides Festival is strictly an 18 plus event.
- A valid ticket and acceptable photo identification are required for entry.
- You must present valid identification at entry. Accepted identification includes a Driver Licence, Passport and Proof of Age Card. Identification must be shown at the entrance to verify your age in accordance with liquor licensing laws.
- Police, including detection dogs, may be present at or near entrances and throughout the event. Screening, searches and law enforcement decisions are at police discretion and may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
- You agree to bag inspections and security screening. Refusal may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
- Changing Tides is under strict instructions to monitor and deny entry to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You may be asked to remove hats or sunglasses upon entry. Please understand that these measures support safety and compliance with liquor licensing laws.
- No pass outs. Please bring everything you need with you to the festival. Once you leave you will not be able to re enter.
Prohibited items
- Illegal substances and drug paraphernalia.
- Alcohol, glass containers and metal drink cans.
- Weapons, imitation weapons, knives and tools.
- Flares, fireworks and explosives.
- Aerosols, permanent markers and spray paint.
- Drones, laser pointers and high powered torches.
- Large umbrellas, eskies and hard sided coolers.
- Chairs other than low profile festival chairs where permitted by the organiser.
- Professional cameras and recording gear without accreditation.
- Any item that the organiser or security believes may be used in a dangerous or disruptive way.
- All surrounding streets within the Kiama Local Government Area are alcohol free zones. Do not approach the festival with alcohol. You may be denied entry.
Cultural and respectful items
- Traditional or cultural dress and items are welcome.
- Sacred and cultural belongings must be treated with respect. You are responsible for their care.
- Some items may be restricted if they present a safety or licensing risk.
Site rules
- Follow instructions from staff, security and emergency services at all times.
- Smoking and vaping only in signed areas.
- No climbing on structures, lighting towers or fencing.
- No crowd surfing or dangerous behaviour.
- Keep aisles and emergency exits clear.
- Use bins provided and respect the environment.
Alcohol and safety
- Responsible Service of Alcohol applies throughout the venue.
- Service may be refused to any person who is intoxicated or cannot present acceptable identification.
- Free water is available at designated stations. Stay hydrated and use sun protection.
- If you or someone near you feels unwell seek help from first aid or staff immediately.
Photography, filming and CCTV
- You may be filmed or photographed at the event for safety and promotional use.
- If you do not want to be in published content contact us and we will consider your request.
Weather and programming
- The event may proceed in rain. Severe weather plans may require temporary evacuation or changes to programming.
- Line up and schedule are subject to change without notice.
Lost property
- Deliver found items to the information point or security.
- Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after a reasonable period.
Breach of conditions
- Breaches of these conditions may result in refusal of entry or removal without refund.
- Serious breaches may be referred to police.

TICKETS, RESALE & COMPANION CARD
Issues or changes to your ticket need to be raised by contacting our Customer Experience team at [email protected] or utilise Tixel for secure ticket resales. It is highly recommended that you DO NOT sell or buy your tickets on any other platform other than Oztix or Tixel. Fraudulent tickets are very common. Please be aware.
To access a Companion ticket, please purchase the tickets you need. Email [email protected] with your order number and Companion card. A Complimentary ticket will then be issued for your Companion.
Intoxication, aggressive behaviour, and any illegal activities will not be tolerated. Our team reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
ACCESSIBLITY
Changing Tides is committed to ensuring that our event is inclusive and easily accessible. Most importantly, we respectfully come together to experience the love of live music whilst feeling comfortable and safe. At Changing Tides there will be:

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
Kiama train station is a 7-minute walk (500m) to/from our venue at Kiama Showground.

TRAVELLING BY TAXIS & RIDESHARE
Taxis and Rideshare operators will be directed to a designated zone on site along Manning street, Kiama.

Uber operates in and around Kiama’s surrounding areas. DRIVING YOUR CAR & PARKING
General
It is strongly recommended that you avoid driving to Changing Tides as there is no parking available onsite and very limited parking in the surrounding streets. Should you be driving your car, please take notice of the parking signs as most streets have timing limits. Please do not drive if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When driving long distances, remember to avoid fatigue by taking regular breaks or sharing the drive.Accessible

ITEMS NOT PERMITTED AT CHANGING TIDES
To ensure the safety and comfort of our festival attendees, we kindly as to leave the following at home.
Not allowed into Changing Tides:
- Bags larger than 40cm x 40cm
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Alcohol brought in from outside the event
- Full unsealed bottles of water, juice, soft drinks etc (please bring empty bottles to refill at our water stations throughout the site)
- Sealable food/drink pouches
- Glass of any kind
- Weapons of any kinds
- Fireworks, flares, fire twirling paraphernalia (sticks, balls etc)
- Laser lights
- Chairs (folding, portable)
- Inflatable furniture
- Video and audio recording devices, including Go Pros (other than mobile phones)
- Professional still cameras (small still cameras are allowed)
- Selfie sticks
- Drones
- Protest paraphernalia and banners
- Umbrellas (please use poncho or raincoats instead)
- Water pistols
- Skateboards
- Anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc)
- Non-biodegradable glitter
- Clothing, jewellery or accessories displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organisations or any “declared organisation” within the meaning of the Crime (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009 is not permitted.
- Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals such as guide dogs)
- Any other item considered illegal or dangerous
